MixPad can mix and combine an unlimited number of tracks, either produced using the program’s recording capabilities or imported from your own music library. Each track is conveniently displayed as a waveform graph, so that you can split, join, trim, and fill with silence specific fragments within your favorite tracks with just a few mouse clicks. You can add a number of audio effects to any of these fragments or to entire tracks just as easily – the “effects menu” includes amplification, chorus, compression, distortion, echo, reverb, tremolo, flanger, wah-wah, as well as three different equalization tools, from a parametric to a visual or a graphic EQ. Either way, the program will let you blend your own creations with existing audio accompaniment tracks, or mix your own voice recordings with instrumental renditions of your favorite songs, and export the results in any of the most popular audio file formats (both lossless and lossy) or as the soundtrack of a video file.
